About SPT

SPT is a vertically integrated total solutions provider for industry leading flexible packaging products and flexible filling and packaging solutions.

We work with high volume manufacturers of consumer-packaged goods and wholesale fluids and commodities in order to optimize their production strategies and meet required volume, ensure target margins are met, and restructure their North American supply chains for flexible packaging production and distribution. We work every day to become a leading catalyst in the rapid transition from wasteful bottles and plastic containers into sustainable packaging solutions

Our Strategy

To become the preferred total solutions provider throughout North America in the market transition to sustainably packaged fluids. SPT will help drive this transition by using its industry knowledge and providing SPT’s fully integrated solutions for Contract Fillers, Brand Owners, and Private Label Retailers to optimize their procurement, production, and distribution of commodity fluid products. SPT will develop and maintain this leadership position by being recognized as the premiere total solution provider in fluid filling and packaging through its innovative and proprietary products, strategic partnerships, in-depth industry knowledge, and its vertically integrated products and services which allow SPT to be a single-source provider for their customer’s filling and packaging equipment and component needs.

Our Team

Sam Giles

COO

Sam Giles brings over 30 years of experience in the Automotive, Aerospace, and Nuclear industries. He has held leadership and management roles in a broad range of functions including: Operations, Engineering, Lean Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Strategic Planning, and Project and Facilities Management. Sam leads SPT’s truly global supply chain for its proprietary filling systems and automation, ensuring multi-source options for critical and non-critical components, international shipping and customs management, and domestic assembly and installation. Sam also oversees SPT’s component distribution and inventory management systems for its customers and works directly with ownership across all business functions.

Sam holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and an MBA from University of Tennessee, Knoxville and from University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Bryan Crosby

CEO

Bryan Crosby is the founder and CEO of Southeastern Packaging Technologies LLC. Bryan has spent a decade working and learning about the packaging and distribution industries, with a vision towards the future in sustainable packaging for high volume automotive and household chemicals. Bryan has spent years working and traveling internationally with the intent to domesticate proven filling, packaging, and distribution equipment and techniques to the US and North American supply chains.

Bryan holds a BBA in Finance and Accounting from MTSU and an MBA in Supply Chain and Entrepreneurship and Innovation from University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Jeff Cain

CFO

Jeff Cain brings multi-decade experience in budgeting, finance, M&A, negotiations, sales management, pricing strategy, and team building. Jeff works directly with ownership and the executive team to allocate resources for SPT to reach its strategic objective of becoming the preferred total solutions provider throughout North America in the market transition to sustainably packaged fluids.

Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Computer Information Systems from Murray State University.

Ammar Altawil

Director of R&D and Technical Support

Ammar Altawil brings over a decade of experience in software, automation, and supply chain. Ammar works directly with SPT’s supplier base to design and integrate SPT’s hi-speed filling systems and and packing lines. Ammar ensures seamless installation, on-going technical support, and maintenance to SPT’s customers. Ammar brings a lean manufacturing background and is six sigma black belt certified in process improvement.

Ammar holds a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering from Damascus University and an MS-MBA in Supply Chain and Business Analytics from University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Randy Boitz

Director of Supply Chain

Randy Boitz has spent over four decades in supply chain management and procurement in the automotive chemical industry. Today, Randy manages SPT’s global network of certified suppliers for its patented packaging products and systems, on boarding SPT’s licensees to ensure efficient product flow, procurement, and logistics. Randy also works alongside licensees to meet their internal testing initiatives by implementing certifiable test methodologies to verify product and packaging compliance directly benchmarked against existing packaging offerings.
